Transportation

Taking the shuttle? 

Trolley shuttles will be available to and from each event. All are welcome to join us on the trolleys at any time throughout the night. Pre-ceremony: Pick-up at the Rittenhouse HotelTrolleys will begin loading at 2:00 pm, and the final pickup will leave the hotel promptly at 2:20 pm. Post-ceremony: Pick-up at the Cathedral Basilica, Drop-off at Osteria Post-Reception: Pick-up at Osteria, Drop-off at the Franklin Mortgage Co. and the Rittenhouse Hotel

Driving yourself? 

Church Parking: Put the address: 222 N 17th St., Philadelphia, PA in your GPS for the best results. The parking lot is on the side of the church near the chapel entrance. Osteria: Complimentary valet parking will be available at the front of the restaurant on Broad St. Please consider using either the shuttle or valet parking options as parking will be limited near the restaurant.

Parking at the Hotel? 

The hotel offers overnight valet parking for $70/night with unlimited in-and-out privileges, valid until 6 pm on the day of departure. Daily valet parking is $32 for those not staying at the hotel who would like to take the shuttle.

Transportation 

All rooms must be booked by June 17th to receive the block rate listed above. Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Please call the hotel front desk if you would like to request an early check-in or need to store your luggage before the wedding. Attire 

Evening Formal 

Formal attire is requested. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome. Suits and ankle/calf-length dresses are also perfectly appropriate. Please avoid casual fabrics and sundresses.

FAQs

When do I need to book my hotel room? 

If you are booking with us at the Rittenhouse Hotel, all rooms must be booked by 6/17 in order to receive the block rate. Please click the "accommodations" tab to see more information about booking your room.

Where can I park? 

Please see the "Transportation" section of our website for more information and parking suggestions.

Where will the shuttle pick up & drop off? 

The shuttle will pick guests up at the Rittenhouse Hotel, take them to the church for the ceremony, and then take them directly to the reception. The shuttle will also make trips back to the hotel after the reception concludes.

Can I take the shuttle if I'm not staying at the hotel? 

Yes! We would like to encourage guests to take the shuttle if at all possible. Valet parking will be available at the Rittenhouse Hotel, and there are also self-park lots near Rittenhouse Square. Please see the "Transportation" tab for more details.

Can I bring a plus one? 

Unfortunately, due to the size of our venue, we cannot accommodate anyone not listed on the envelope of your invitation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us for clarification.

Can I bring my children? 

While we would love to see your children on our wedding day, the space cannot accommodate those under the age of 18 as it is a small restaurant/bar. Please reach out to us with any questions.

Will the wedding be outside? 

No! The ceremony and reception will be held indoors and air-conditioned, with the exception of the cocktail hour, which will take place on a covered patio with easy access to the air-conditioned restaurant.

How do I get home from the after party? 

The Franklin is located behind Barclay Prime Steakhouse, across Rittenhouse Square, within walking distance of the Rittenhouse Hotel. We recommend either walking back to the hotel or taking an Uber/Lift.
